Skye Maxwell 12, finishes her sign for Senior panoramic.

The annual senior panoramic is quickly approaching for the class of 2017. Many students are hard at work designing and creating their posters in the Student Production Center of Midkiff. The panoramic is a time when students can create a poster that represents them to pose with for the yearbook. Many students participate, and many hours can be invested into these signs. A senior, Skye Maxwell, shares her poster that she will be using in the panoramic. Maxwell created a poster of a pie with her name inside the pie. “It’s supposed to be ‘Skye Pie’ because it’s what my boyfriend calls me. I also really like the color pink and pie!” says Maxwell. India Alford, another senior, created a poster including a very popular meme figure – Pepe the frog. Alford chose this design because she loves Pepe and the different memes the internet comes up with involving the frog. Yearbook members are scrambling to arrange the panoramic photos. Yearbook says that it can get very stressful when dealing with arranging the students in a way so that all posters can be seen, and it is also difficult to regulate all of the posters. Yearbook members encourage students to keep the school guidelines in mind when creating these posters and expect the panoramic to be a big success!
